Bugs & Brews Fly Tying Class is the perfect way to learn the fundamentals of fly tying—or refine your skills—in a welcoming setting where fishing stories, good company, and a cold drink are always part of the experience. You’ll leave with a set of hand-tied flies, new techniques, and plenty of stories to share on the water. 6-8pm. $45.

This fundraiser for Rise Above Violence is based around teams using imagination rather than cash to create outfits from recycled and natural elements. On October 3rd they will model their creations while the crowd goes wild voting for their favorite couture outfit made this year out of cardboard and recyclable plastics.

Based on Arnold Lobel’s beloved books, ‘A Year with Frog and Toad’ follows two friends through four seasons of ordinary adventures. Frog and Toad swim, rake leaves, go sledding, plant a garden, wait for the mail and attempt to stop eating cookies. They do not always agree, and they occasionally test each other’s patience, but they keep showing up for one another. The musical is warm, funny and filled with songs that children can enjoy without leaving the adults behind.

In Matthew Lombardo’s Who’s Holiday!, the innocent little girl who once encountered the Grinch is now an adult with a complicated history and a Christmas story of her own.
